How will the ghost and the hunter keep their romance alive? Steven shares a few ideas with HollywoodLife.com.
There isn’t a Facebook status in the world capable of capturing just how ‘complicated’ the relationship between Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Bonnie (Kat Graham\) is going to be when The Vampire Diaries returns Oct. 10 for its fifth season. Jeremy, who was just brought back from the dead, will attempt to re-enter high school, while continuing to date Bonnie, who is now a ghost. Like I said, it’s complicated.
HollywoodLife.com caught up with Steven at the Los Angeles premiere of The Lone Ranger on June 23, and the younger Gilbert sibling had some pretty wild — yet strangely familiar — ideas about Jeremy and Bonnie’s future.
Our Q&A With Steven R. McQueen
What do you think Jeremy’s relationship with Bonnie will be like?
Well, have you seen Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore? Its going to be exactly like that!
Shot for shot?
Yeah. I’m going to mold some clay, and it’s going to be beautiful.
Jeremy seems like he can handle anything. What wouldn’t you want to see happen to him?
I wouldn’t like to see a scene of me molding clay with Bonnie behind me singing, “Ohhhhh, my love…”
Because everybody thinks Jeremy’s dead, will he have trouble going back to school? What will he be up to in season five?
Going back to school to prove to papa he’s not a fool! I don’t know, its all [up to] the amazing writers. I’m putting all my trust and hope in them to make a good show for us all.
Any chance Jeremy will ever appear on The Originals?
I hope so. It’s always fun to hang out with the Originals!
