The rapper was tragically shot and killed on June 20 and now the family tells HollywoodLife.com what their plans on for his memory to live on.

Lil Snupe tragically lost his life at the young age of just 18 but his family doesn’t want anyone to forget just how talented he was. HollywoodLife.com spoke with a family friend of the late rapper and they told us that there will be more Lil Snupe music coming your way.

Lil Snupe’s Family Will Share His Unreleased Music

The family friend, who wanted their identity to not be revealed, said that the family is going through a lot of pain. The friend also told us that they know how happy Snupe would be if they put his music out, especially since he worked so hard on it.

“I couldn't tell you the exact album title. I do know – it's not Real In Charge ,” the insider told us. “He definitely had a mix tape that he himself was working on. There was one that was already finished that is coming up soon.  My nephew is on one of the songs in the most recent one with him. And of course, there's plenty of stuff with Meek they done did, I'm sure they did in the studio that they haven't released.

The insider also said that the family hopes that Lil Snupe’s tragic death will teach kids about gun violence.

“More than anything, he had a big heart for the kids in our community,” the insider told us. “He was only 18. I would like them to add something to that about ending this violence with the guns. I want to see it come out and I want him to get that recognition, but I think that with him passing the way he did, he would want us to do something for the kids that are hurting too, and are going to be without him in this next generation.”

Do you think it’s a good idea to release Lil Snupe’s music?
