Did Kate Middleton lie about her due date? The royal couple announced that their first child is due on July 13, but sources say she and Prince William could be fooling us all — just like Princess Diana!
Kate Middleton, 31, and Prince William, 31, are reportedly due with their first child on July 13, but the heir to the British throne may be making an appearance sooner than we think!
Kate & Prince William: Following Princess Diana’s Lead
Clarence House officially announced that Kate and Will are due with their first child in July, and the Duchess told reporters in April that she was due more specifically “around mid-July.”
“But apparently, babies have their own agenda,” she joked. However, Kate could be due earlier than July 13, and she and William “have kept the true date a secret, much like Princess Diana,” according to the Daily Telegraph.
When Princess Diana was due with her first son Prince William in 1982, she announced a July 1 due date. However, the heir to the throne arrived on June 21 — ten days before his supposed due date! So, should we be expecting the royal baby on July 3?
The Royal Couple Attempt To Maintain Privacy
The decision to reveal the wrong due date could have been made in order to protect their privacy during the royal couple’s highly-publicized pregnancy. The Duchess was forced to announce her pregnancy sooner than she wanted when she was struck with a bout of morning sickness that required hospitalization.
What do YOU think of Kate possibly being due earlier than July 13, HollyMoms? Do you think she’ll have an early delivery?
