Even though she went through court-ordered rehab following a DUI charge, the former ‘Teen Mom’ star is still denying that she has a drinking problem.
Farrah Abraham has been through a lot in her life — and even though her 10-day rehab program was a great opportunity for her to address some of her biggest issues, it seems that the reality TV star did not embrace the chance to start over.
Farrah Abraham: I’m Not An ‘Actual’ Alcoholic
Farrah may be going through the motions of trying to improve her life and make wiser choices, but she is not convinced that she needs the help to begin with. In an interview from her outpatient treatment at The Lukens Institute in Palm Beach, Florida, the 22-year-old proves that she still doesn’t get it.
“I wanted to improve myself even though I don’t have, like, an actual alcoholic issue — I take being a role model seriously,” Farrah told OK! Magazine about her motivation behind rehab.
Who is Farrah most concerned with being a role model to? Her 4-year-old daughter Sophia can’t get the best from her mom if she is not facing her demons.
Farrah Abraham: Rehab Is For Your Emotions
So what exactly is rehab for, in Farrah’s eyes?
“It’s basically intense therapy, like analyzing your emotions, your life as a child, your teen years through who you are now, your relationships and understanding how you show anger, sadness, guilt, shame, joy,” she told OK! All of which are healthy ways for Farrah to express and deal with her issues.
Farrah was even kicked out of rehab before her 10-day stay was up because of her disruptive behavior, narrowing her window of time for improvement even further.
