We’ve heard the stories about how Kanye West has completely softened since the birth of his baby girl, North West — he praises her, he’s protective of her, and he even sings lullabies to her! But we haven’t been able to see the man himself get all gooey and sentimental — until now.
Kanye West On ‘Kris’: I Have ‘A Whole Family To Live For’
Sitting with Kris Jenner on her Aug. 23 episode of Kris for an hour-long interview, Kanye had no problem getting a little gushy about Kim Kardashian and their daughter together.
The 36-year-old rapper admitted that Kim and baby North have changed his life completely, and maybe even saved it! “After I lost my mother, there were times that I felt like, you know, I would put my life at risk,” Kanye revealed.
“Sometimes I didn’t have something to live for,” Kanye added. “Now I have two really special people to live for — a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for!”
What an amazingly heartfelt confession!

Kanye’s interview with Kris, which will air in full today, Aug. 23, features a whole slew of revelations from the rapper. In another preview clip, Yeezy admitted that he loves Kim so much that he’s willing to put up with the paparazzi for her.
“Someone could say, ‘The paparazzi surrounds you — if you don’t like paparazzi, why would you be with this person?’ And I’m like, ‘I’m with this person because I love this person and she’s worth it to me,’” Kanye stated.
Now that’s true love.
