While appearing on ‘Kris’ on Aug. 23, Kanye revealed that having a daughter made him feel totally different about the famous moment he interrupted Taylor’s VMA speech. At long last, Taylor Swift is finally getting a (sort of) apology from Kanye West after he interrupted her VMA speech in 2009! Speaking with Kris Jenner on her show Kris, Kanye revealed that he would never want his daughter North West to be interrupted on stage by a “crazy drunk” guy, showing that fatherhood has totally changed him! Kanye West On North West & Taylor Swift Incident — His Baby Changed Him Speaking all about his daughter, Kanye revealed to the momager that he wants to protect North. “The last thing I would want to happen to my daughter is some crazy drunk black guy in a leather shirt to come up and cut her off at an awards show,” Kanye said. “That’s the last thing I’d want.” “I was just a crazy rockstar,” Kanye told Kris of his 2009 self. He went on to say that his past slip-ups have only helped him become a better person. “Anything considered a ‘mistake’ will help me make better decisions in the future.” Kanye is of course referring to the famous VMA moment when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech, and said "Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you. I'll let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!" It is amazing how becoming a father to his precious princess has made Kanye think less about himself — he is famously confidant after all — and more about how he treats women. Good for you, Kanye!
