Kylie Jenner just turned 16 on Aug. 10, and though she usually goes for styles that look way above her age, she was out sporting a much more youthful look while going on a shopping trip on Aug. 22.
Kylie Jenner’s Youthful Hairstyle
Double ponytails are usually a girl’s go-to for that “schoolgirl” look, but Kylie decided to put her own spin on the classic. She instead went for a tighter style with two buns done up perfectly. Talk about taking a risk!
Kylie was definitely the belle of the Calabasas ball with this playful look, and it’s actually nice to see her embrace her sweet sixteen youth instead of opting for overly mature styles.
She accented her hairstyle with a gray tank top and a black skirt with a white sweater wrapped around her waist. And she finished off the look with serious flair by wearing retro sunglasses and plastic jelly heeled sandals with black socks. Wow, remember jelly sandals in the ’90s!?
You have to give credit to Kylie for going all in on this retro, schoolgirl-inspired look. With so much pressure on the youngest Jenner to meet the family’s high standards for style, it’s cool to see her take risks and do her own thing.
