Say goodbye to her blue hair and spinning bras, because Katy Perry has a whole new image! In the newest teaser for her hot upcoming single “Roar,” Katy is seen at a funeral for her old self, and boy does she look excited to be debuting a new look!
Katy Perry’s New Teaser Trailer For ‘Roar’
Katy, 28, debuted the new teaser on August 5, where she is seen attending her own funeral. Sorta.
The coffin is covering in spinning swirly things that Katy usually wears on her clothes, and two girls in “California Gurls” style wigs are crying. Katy then appears to wink at the camera, and just like Tom Sawyer she is attending her own funeral!
Personally, I am thrilled that Katy is taking a new direction with her image. She previously burnt her blue wig in the last trailer, so this is the end of candy themed dresses, colored hair and rotating boob outfits.
Her new look appears to be edgier and more adult, and she looks hot!
The track, to be released on August 12, is the first to be taken from her forthcoming new album Prism, which Katy confirmed would be released in October.
