The Next Doctor Who Is Revealed
Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat announced that Peter would be replacing Matt Smith as the new TARDIS leader during the live BBC special Doctor Who: The Next Doctor.
Peter spoke during the live special and said:
Being asked to play the Doctor is an amazing privilege. Like the Doctor himself I find myself in a state of utter terror and delight. It’s so wonderful not to keep this secret any longer, but it’s been so fantastic.
