Lea has been easing her way back into work after her beloved boyfriend Cory tragically died on July 13, and, all things considered, she seems happy to be back on the set of ‘Glee,’ where she first met the love of her life.

Lea Michele is so brave! Just three weeks after losing her soulmate and Glee co-star Cory Monteithshe is already back to work on the musical dramedy. On August 1, Lea tweeted that she was excited about beginning work on season five early, but how is she feeling now that production on the show has officially started? Read on for EXCLUSIVE details about how Lea and the cast and crew are coping.

Lea Michele On ‘Glee’ Set — Cast Is ‘Somber’ But ‘Happy’

It must be really hard for everyone involved with ‘Glee,’ especially Lea, to be back on the set where they worked so closely with Cory.

The feel of the set is “very somber, but everyone is happy to be with one another,” a source close to the show tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

It’s hard to grieve, but even harder to grieve alone, so it’s good that the cast and crew will have each other to lean on during this difficult process.

Lea will be heading a musical tribute for Cory, which will definitely be a painful but cathartic experience for her. After everything she's been through, Lea is truly amazing for persevering through her pain!

Lea Michele: Devastated, But Staying Strong

After Naya Rivera broke the news that Glee would resume on August 5, fans wondered if Lea would be ready to return so soon, but she went back even sooner than expected to record songs and have her wardrobe fitted.

"First day of glee today..And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I've missed her so much❤," Lea tweeted on August 1, showing that she is remaining upbeat even as she grieves.

"Lea is very strong in the process so far,” a source close to the show told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. ”She is really trying to show a strong face on set to the cast and crew, but you can tell she is still in a haze.”

"Tears can and will happen at anytime," the source added.

Lea will understandably feel very emotional on the set, where she will be surrounded by reminders of Cory — but if the tears come and she needs to take a moment, her castmates will no doubt support and comfort her in her time of need. Maybe being back at work is exactly what Lea needs right now.

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Will being back at work be good for Lea?
