Robert Pattinson has been spotted out partying with friends in Hollywood quite a bit lately, so we can understand why his ex Kristen Stewart would get the impression that he doesn’t have a care in the world after their sad split. However, looks can be deceiving, and we’re told Rob really does care about losing Kristen!
Robert Pattinson Sad After Kristen Stewart Break-Up — He’s Still Hurting
Rob, 27, may be putting on a brave face, but he’s still hurting on the inside.
“Contrary to what Kristen believes, Rob is not taking their breakup lightly,” a friend of Rob’s tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He just doesn’t show his emotions openly. He’s an introverted guy, especially when it comes to relationships.”
“He’s not one to open up and blab about what’s going on,” explains the insider. “He’s also very English and keeps to himself.”
From everything we know about Rob, that does make a lot of sense. Everyone has their own way of handling heartache, and it seems Rob is determined to keep his feelings to himself.
Rob has also been doing a great job distracting himself from Kristen, 23. In addition to filming Maps to the Stars, the Twilight stud has been making his music career his number one priority, and working with some top names in the music industry.
"He's heavily invested in his music career and it will only be a matter of time that he has a number one hit on his hands,” a source close to Rob revealed. “He's that talented and that passionate about making this happen. Rob is a very humble, deep, thoughtful person and music is his way of expressing his authentic self."
Who knows, maybe Rob will express his feelings about Kristen through his music, too!
Kristen Stewart Spotted at LAX Airport Looking Sad
We told you Kristen was seen catching a flight at LAX on August 19 and she didn’t look particularly happy — probably because she is hurt that Rob looks so "carefree" all the time.
A source close to Kristen revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY:
Kristen isn't happy that Rob has seemed to be so carefree filming his next movie, going out all of the time, etc. Does she want him to live a happy life? Of course. But she wishes it looked like he was suffering a bit more. She feels like her exhaustion and heartbreak as a result of the situation is written all over her face, and she feels betrayed that it looks like he's totally cool with everything. It's a cycle of depression for her.
Poor Kristen! We can understand why she feels so hurt, but she knows Rob better than anyone and she should take comfort in knowing that he’s not one to wear his heart on his sleeve.
