The edgy singer opted for a wide-leg Chanel jumpsuit, putting her eclectic sense of style on full display — but did she look chic or does this get-up belong in the circus? VOTE!

Miley Cyrus owns her edgy sense of style, making her one we always love to watch on the red carpet — even if we don’t always agree with the fashion statement she might be making! When the 20-year-old star stepped out for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation West Coast debut of the new, multi-media broadcaster center ‘Seacrest Studios’ at CHOC Children’s Hospital at CHOC Children’s Hospital on Mar. 22, the star took the opportunity to flaunt her personal sense of style in a strapless, wide-leg, black and white striped Chanel jumpsuit from the Spring 2013 collection.

The star rocked her signature blonde pixie cut, a bright, red lip and a gold choker with the ensemble. While the look had a retro vibe, I thought the star totally owned it. I really love how she isn’t afraid to take chances and really beats to her own drum when it comes to her fashion choices, and that’s exactly what she did on this occasion! Miley looked confident, cool and comfortable in the spring style — and she showed off one of the hottest trends of the season.

Jumpsuits seem to be everywhere we turn, from the runway to the red carpet — and you can easily try the trend, too. But let’s be serious, wearing a striped, wide-leg jumpsuit with pockets isn’t something that the majority can pull off, although Miley really owned the look.

Do you agree? Did you like her interesting fashion statement or do you think it looked too much like a costume? VOTE!
