Videos titled ‘Allah Is The One’ and ‘Islam’ have reportedly been linked on a YouTube page believed to be created by Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the now dead suspect number one of the Boston bombings.
TMZ is reporting that Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, who was killed by police on April 19, created a YouTube page “several months ago” containing links to multiple religious videos. Tamerlan’s younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, is still on the run as of 11:15am EST on April 19.
The YouTube page has not been confirmed to belong to Tamerlan Tsarnaev at this time. The page “liked” videos related to Al Qaeda and had religious videos in the playlist.
The Hunt For The Suspects Of The Boston Bombings
News crews have been told to back up and stay down as police have their guns currently drawn in Watertown, Massachusetts.
Officers are looking for younger suspect, Dzhokhar, the man who was wearing a white hat on the day of the bombing, April 15. The FBI released photos of the two brothers on April 18.
The brothers tried to rob a 7-11 convenience store before shooting and killing an MIT policeman on April 19 who was responding to violence on the campus. After a high speed car chase, where the suspects started throwing bombs at police, Tamerlan was killed. He was reportedly wearing an explosive device on himself.
All of Boston is on lockdown on April 19, with certain areas being evacuated and other residents being told to stay in their homes. Public transportation, including Amtrak and the subway system, The T, have been suspended. Offices, schools and businesses are closed.
Police are telling residents not to open their doors unless instructed by a police officer.
