After a violent police shootout with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects in the early morning of April 19, information has begun to flood out regarding the identities of the two terrorists.

Boston Marathon Bombing Suspects’ Identities Revealed

The men are brothers from Chechnya, a small region in Russia, who have been living in the Cambridge, Mass. area for at least one year, according to the Associated Press. Though the name of Suspect One, the black-hatted suspect who was shot and killed on April 19, has not been released, he reportedly attended Bunker Hill Community College and once posted on a personal website that “he doesn’t have a single American friend.”

We also now know that Suspect Two is a 19-year-old named Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev. These brothers from Chechnya are terrorists who may have received military training overseas, according to a report from NBC News.

Boston Police’s Manhunt For Suspect Two

Suspect Two, Dzhokhar, is currently still at large, as he was able to flee the shootout in Watertown, Mass. Boston is in full lockdown as the police fiercely search for this man — public transportation has been suspended, all schools and offices have been closed, and police are asking residents to remain in their homes.

When Suspect One, who remains unidentified, died while being taken to the hospital, where it was discovered that he had multiple explosives strapped to his body, according to CNN. Police believe that Dzhokhar may also have explosive devices on him.
