Katy Perry looked so appropriate and chic when she stepped out for The Smurfs 2 photocall at the 2013 Summer of Sony week at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cancun on April 22, where the 28-year-old star looked lovely in a blue lace cocktail dress from Monique Lhuillier‘s Spring/Summer 2013 collection. I love the way she stayed true to the theme of the film!
Katy Perry The Smurfs 2 — She Fits Right In!
Katy looked sweet and chic in the lacy frock, which featured 3/4-length sleeves and a flared skirt that hit just below the knee. A thin black belt and metallic pumps finished off the ensemble. Katy accessorized with even more blue hues, wearing a floral headband in her hair and sporting blue and white shades. The quirky star took it to a whole new level with her matching accessories, and I loved it! Katy always looks like she’s having so much fun on the red carpet, showing off stylish looks while still adding a refreshing fun factor to her look.
Blue is definitely her color and I thought Katy’s look was pure perfection — it’s like she morphed into her character right on the red carpet! From head-to-toe this get-up was perfect for her promotional duties. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see what this Smurfette will wear while promoting the upcoming flick.
