Chris Brown’s BET Awards Surprise — May Perform ‘Run It’ From 2005
While everyone is expecting Chris to perform a song off his upcoming released album, X, the 24-year-old artist has something a bit different in mind.
“He’s debating about doing a dance beat [and] might just take it back and hit them with one of his old school cuts, like ‘Run It’ from 2005,” a source connected to the singer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “That was like eight years ago — a time when everybody loved him and he didn’t have a care in the world.”
Chris Brown Wants To Put The Drama Behind Him
“[Chris is] thinking that if he goes back in time and performs a song from when he first hit the scene, people will remember him for his music and his talent, rather than for the drama that he’s been caught up in recently [i.e. his recent hit & run charges],” the source adds.
