Michael Bloomberg's Daughter Georgina Bloomberg Is Pregnant Jun 27th 2013, 22:44 Mayor Bloomberg is going to be Grandpa Bloomberg! The Mayor of New York City’s daughter, Georgina, is pregnant with her first child, which will also be his first grandchild. Congrats to Georgina and the Mayor! Georgina Bloomberg, the 30-year-old daughter of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, announced on June 27 that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Ramiro Quintana, 36. This is extremely exciting news for the Bloombergs, as it will be the first grandchild for the Mayor Bloomberg! Mayor Michael Bloomberg Is ‘Thrilled’ To Be A Grandfather Mayor Bloomberg has had plenty of experience in local government, as he has been Mayor of New York City since 2002, but he hasn’t had any experience as a grandpa. Georgina is the first of his daughters — she has an older sister, Emma, 34 — to have a child of her own, and Michael Bloomberg couldn’t be more excited. A spokesperson told Page Six that the mayor  is “thrilled and can’t wait to meet his first grandchild.” The rep also said that Georgina and Ramiro, who are both professional equestrians, are “excited to be expecting a baby this winter,” and “her entire family has been incredibly supportive.” Mayor Michael Bloomberg Says He Will Change, But Not Feed, His Grandchild As thrilled and supportive as the NYC mayor is to be a grandpa, there is one thing he said he won’t do to help Georgina care for her child — give him or her a bottle. He said: If asked to do changing or feeding, I will do the same thing that I did with my own two daughters — changing. It is so much quicker and easier. Feeding goes on forever and ever and ever. He may be right about the time difference, but it’s pretty surprising to hear that he would rather change a smelly diaper than feed the little one!
