'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Movie Cast To Be Revealed At Comic-Con Jun 27th 2013, 21:24 We’ve got the director, we’ve got the release date and now we’re only weeks away from finding out who will play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele! The names of many hot hunks and lovely ladies have been mentioned for the leading roles in Fifty Shades of Grey, and HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY tell you when we’ll finally find out who nabbed the coveted roles. ‘Fifty Shades’ Cast To Be Announced At Comic-Con “A reveal of the cast is currently planned for Comic-Con,” our source tells us. We’re dying to know who will be announced as the two leads! The film already has a release date of August 1, 2014 with Sam Taylor-Johnson set to direct so it was only a matter of time until the cast was unveiled. The Top Choices To Play Christian Rumors have been flying for months about who will play brooding sex fiend Christian Grey. Hollywood hotties like Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill, and Matt Bomer have remained the top choices, at least among the ladies. However, Fifty Shades author E L James attended a Great Gatsby-themed party June 22 at Robert Pattinson‘s house. Maybe they were discussing some of the sexy scenes from the book! Magic Mike star Alex Pettyfer reportedly filmed a scene with another director Gus Van Sant back in April, but his casting was never officially confirmed. Who Should Play Anastasia? The other big question is: Who will play Christian’s love interest Anastasia Steele? Harry Potter’s Emma Watson was rumored to have nabbed the lead of Ms. Steele, but she firmly dismissed those rumors on Twitter. Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke and Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel are now thought to be front-runners with the fans, along with Lucy Hale, Shailene Woodley, and Felicity Jones.  All of these choices for Christian and Anastasia sound great to us!
