Kim Kardashian may be hoping to lose her baby weight quickly, but that might not be the greatest idea! HollywoodLife.com spoke with a nutritionist who tells us she should focus more on overall health, and not on losing weight!

Although Kim Kardashian hasn’t been out in public since giving birth to baby North West on June 15, she has said recently that she plans to lose 30 pounds of her baby weight — in just 30 days! While she may think that’s a great plan, a nutritionist tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY why that’s not her best bet.

Kim Kardashian: Her Focus ‘Should Not Be On Losing Weight’

While losing 30 pounds in 30 days is possible, nutritionist and health coach Kristen Kilmer told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that every woman is different, and it might not be the best decision for Kim to attempt this major weight loss. She tells us:

Right now her focus really should not be on losing weight. It should be all about maintaining a very healthy lifestyle because she's now nurturing not only herself but her baby.”

Trying to balance caring for a newborn and losing 30 pounds in 30 days could create a lot of stress for Kim, which Kristen said is important to monitor because, if she doesn’t, her weight loss plan could have reverse effects! She adds:

It's especially important that she really watch her stress levels right now because too much stress can compromise the adrenals and raise cortisol levels which keeps the weight on. So if she puts too much emphasis on weight loss and isn't getting the results she wants that could actually make it even harder for her to lose weight.

Kim Kardashian Should ‘Just Enjoy Her New Baby!’

In order to attempt a 30-day/30-pound weight loss, Kim plans to work out with trainer Tracy Anderson, which will include a lot of cardio and a diet consisting of a lot of fruits and vegetables, In Touch magazine reported. Even though it’s great to live a healthy lifestyle, Kristen hopes Kim doesn’t go too crazy. The nutritionist adds:

Hopefully she'll take it easy on herself and just enjoy her new baby rather than punishing her body and herself!
