After Big Sean and Kendrick dropped their controversial new song, fans have reacted to the crazy verse that has sent shockwaves through the rap world! Overall, the reaction is totally positive.

Big SeanKendrick Lamar and Jay Electron released their hot new song “Control” on August 13, and not only is it trending on Twitter, it has caused the rap world to freak out over Kendrick’s verse, where he raps about being the “king of New York.” Fans were quick to react to his bid to steal the attention away from the biggest names in the rap community, and we have collected all their best quotes.

Kendrick Lamar’s Verse — Fans React

Kendrick, 26, raps the most notable verse in the song, where he calls out all other rappers and tells them to step up their game:

I'm usually homeboys with the same n****s i'm rhymin wit/But this is hip hop and them n****s should know what time it is/And that goes for Jermaine ColeBig K.R.I.T., WalePusha TMeek Mill, A$AP RockyDrakeBig SeanJay Electron', TylerMac Miller/I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you n****s/Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n****s.

Fans were not the only ones to react to this video — so did the rappers in question!

"If I can't do no more nouns or verbs ima start comin with the wildest adjective bars that anyone has ever heard," Mac Miller added.

Even big names in rap/hip-hop who weren't mentioned in Kendrick's rap appear to have something to say about it.
