The star is really stepping up her style game, showing off not one but two seriously sexy, high-fashion frocks — all in the same day! Which dress did you really love on Dakota?
Dakota Fanning has always been one we love to watch on the red carpet, but it wasn’t until recently that the star has shown off such a sexy side when she steps out. The 19-year-old did just that when she showed off two totally different looks at the Venice Film Festival on Aug. 31, all while promoting Night Moves. Although she was quite busy she still managed to find time for a quick frock swap — and we’re having a hard time deciding which look we like more!
Dakota Fanning ‘Night Moves’ During The Venice Film Festival:
Dakota first emerged during the day at the Palazzo del Casino for the Night Moves photocall, where the teen put her long legs on full display in an Alexander McQueen mini from the Resort 2014 collection. The cream leather mini featured feminine layers and embossed detailing, which was offset by a leather belt. Although the star has such a fair complexion the dress still looks great against her skin. I really like the way she added a wine pair of Rupert Sanderson shoes to the ensemble — I thought they went with the frock perfectly! A copper lip finished off her photocall look.
Dakota Fanning ‘Night Moves’ Premiere At The Venice Film Festival:
Before the star stepped out for the premiere she traded her mini for a dramatic, midnight blue gown that featured a very plunging neckline. Although this dress was definitely more sexy than we’re used to seeing on Dakota it looked amazing on the star — and it was a great choice for the glam premiere night! I’m so happy that she really went all out — this is exactly what I hope we get to see from other gals on the red carpet during the film festival.
Dakota looked lovely in an Elie Saab — and she’s the first star to show off a dress from the Fall 2013 Couture collection on the red carpet! The deep v-neckline gave way to an embellished, ethereal ball gown, which she paired with jewels from Rona Pfeiffer and Cathy Waterman.
While her fashion was remarkable, she opted for her signature ‘do and wore her blonde locks down and parted in the middle. Sure her hair looks neat, but I would have liked to see her wear her hair back to really compliment the glam gown on this occasion.
What do you think? Did you like Dakota’s leather mini or her glam gown on the red carpet? VOTE.
