Nina’s new promo shot has us thirsting for season five. Can it just be Oct. 3 already?
Fully aware of our insatiable hunger for new-ness, The CW has been slowly feeding us behind-the-scenes pictures of The Vampire Diaries cast from the show’s upcoming fifth season. First came Paul Wesley looking dark, followed by Ian Somerhalder looking pensive; and now, we’ve got Nina Dobrev, getting into character as Elena — or is she being Katherine?
Either way, Nina’s characters both have some serious drama coming up this fall. As Elena struggles to maintain a long-distance relationship with Damon — because we all know how well those work in college — Katherine will struggle to cope with her new life as a human.
It’ll still be a few more weeks before we find out how both girls fare in their missions — the season premiere airs Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. on The CW — so for now, let’s just bask in Nina’s behind-the-scenes beauty.
