Being out of the country has not made Kristen Stewart‘s heart grow fonder for Robert Pattinson – in fact the actress is having the time of her life. Good for her!
Kristen Stewart In Berlin — Getting Post-Breakup Support From Friends
Kristen, 23, has been taking her breakup with Rob, 27, really hard, and it definitely wasn’t easy being in the same city with him — especially after he moved to Beverly Hills to get away from her. But Kristen one-upped him by going to Berlin and she’s finally starting to feel like herself again!
“Kristen is the happiest she’s been in a long time,” her friend tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She feels a sense of freedom being in Berlin and is having a really fun time on the set and just exploring the city and the countryside.”
Kristen is currently filming her new movie Sils Maria in Berlin, and it seems to be doing her some good. The usually glum-looking actress was all smiles when she was spotted hanging out with her friends on Aug. 29.
“She is with a couple of her good friends from back home. They are like her extended family and have been supporting her nonstop,” her friend reveals. “Her friends always remind her to not take life or herself too seriously. They do a good job of bringing out her silly, goofy side.”
It’s so great that Kristen has friends to lean on as she tries to get over Rob. And it’s even better to see her smiling again!
Is Kristen Stewart Missing Robert Pattinson?
Kristen may be having fun, but she still feels sad about Rob from time to time.
“Of course, Kristen still misses Rob, but being far away from him has actually helped her — she’s really happy and enjoying herself for the first time in a very long time,” says the friend.
Back in the states, Rob has also been enjoying himself while filming a steamy advertisement for Dior. Kristen has seen the racy photos, but she’s not letting them get her down.
“Kristen is not upset or jealous over Rob’s intimate Dior ad. She knows it’s all work,” the friend reveals. “But it’s not like she’s going to spend lots of time looking at the photos or footage. Her friends want to make sure her mind is on fun and not in Rob.”
It sounds like Kristen has finally found a way to take her mind of Rob, and that’s definitely a good thing!
