We love Maroon 5, we love The Voice – ok fine, we just plain love Adam Levine! Our adoration is growing minute by minute thanks in part to the new video he just released for his eponymous fragrance Adam Levine, that was released in February. The video of Adam explains his decision to create a perfume, as well as the process behind it! Keep reading and see it below.
Adam Levine’s Fragrance: Adam Levine
Adam opens the video by boldly stating: “All right, I typically hate celebrity fragrances.” While it may seem like something of a contradictory statement, Adam goes on to explain that “it’s not that I hate celebrities and it’s not that I hate fragrances. It’s that when I see them, I don’t necessarily believe that the people who are promoting them were particularly connected to what they were making.”
But Adam promises that his fragrance, Adam Levine, is completely different from every other celebrity fragrance out there: “It's very basic, very classic. The anti-celebrity fragrance, very simple."
To ensure that his fragrance was something completely new and unexpected, Adam was involved in every step of the creation process. The singer says “I want[ed] to be involved every step of the way, whether it's the design of the bottle, the way it smells on a woman.”
