The “Come and Get It” singer was introduced to the “A Team” singer-songwriter over Memorial Day by her BFF Taylor Swift, a source tells Us Weekly. The source insists, “They are hooking up!”
Ed told Us that he was single at the MuchMusic Video Awards on June 16, but we’re sure he wouldn’t turn down a chance to date Selena!
Ed Is A ‘Nice Escape’ From Justin
After her on-and-off relationship with Justin, the source says Selena was in need of a new guy. There were reports that she wanted to date an older guy and according to Us, Selena likes 22-year-old Ed because of his maturity compared to Justin’s.
“She got sick of having to take care of Justin like he was her child. This is a nice escape from the drama,” the source tells Us.
Ed seems like a nice change of pace for Selena! Even if they are just friends, it’s good for Selena to be on the dating scene.
