This sad news has just gotten sadder. Before his sudden and tragic death, Cory was reportedly planning on moving in with Lea, and they were talking about marriage.
Cory Monteith and Lea Michele were so in love at the time of his tragic death on July 13. The Glee stars were reportedly planning on moving in together, and they were “100 percent happy” at the time of the awful incident.
Cory Monteith & Lea Michele Were Going To Live Together
Cory, 31, was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room, and fans, celebrities and his co-stars have publicly expressed their grief. Cory and Lea, who played Finn and Rachel on the hit show, were getting really serious in their relationship.
“Lea and Cory were planning on moving in together after he got back from Vancouver,” an insider tells Us Weekly. They “weren’t talking engagement or marriage yet but it was heading that way,” explains the source. “The first step was Cory was going to move in [to Michele's L.A. home] completely. He was already there all the time.”
This is just so sad. Lea and Cory were such an amazing couple, and they were clearly going to be together forever before his sad death.
Despite some speculation to the contrary, the couple were extremely happy and committed at this time. “They were 100 percent happy and together and in love at the time of his death,” the source says. “They never broke up.”
Needless to say, Lea is “inconsolable” about the death of her soul mate.
"She [Lea Michele] is absolutely hysterical and completely inconsolable," a source close to the actor tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “She is devastated beyond belief."
Lea, who was in Mexico during Cory's passing, "was shaking when she heard the news," a source tells New York Daily News.
Hopefully Finn and Rachel will get the happy ending that Lea and Cory deserved.
