The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge is staying at her parents’ house in Bucklebury, which is almost an hour away from where she is due to give birth at St. Mary’s Hospital in London! Do YOU think she should move back to her house in Kensington Palace?
Kate Middleton, 31, has moved from her Nottingham Cottage home on the grounds of Kensington Palace to her parents’ mansion in Bucklebury. Although she is enjoying the time bonding with her family, their home is about 50 miles away from St. Mary’s Hospital, where she’s due to give birth!
Kate Middleton Waiting For Baby In Bucklebury
While Kate spent time with her family in Bucklebury, police cars were spotted outside the Middleton mansion to escort the pregnant Duchess back to St. Mary’s Hospital. With security and drivers on call for the mom-to-be, she enjoyed spending time with her family in the final days before her bundle of joy arrives.
“Being back at home in Bucklebury is the one place where Kate can truly relax, especially with all the building work going on at Kensington Palace,” a royal insider told the Daily Mail.
“She knows her mum will take good care of her and William can also rest assured that she’s in safe hands,” the insider added. “Kate is very family orientated so it is only natural that she would want to spend as much time as possible with her parents before the baby arrives.”
No word on when or if Kate is expected to return to Kensington Palace before the baby arrives, but we hope that she gets to the hospital quickly and safely wherever she is when she goes into labor!
Prince William Competed In Charity Polo Match While Kate Waited In Bucklebury
When Kate was hanging out with her family in Bucklebury, her husband Prince William, 31, was competing in a charity polo match on July 14 in Gloucester, England. Although he was prepared to travel immediately to London if Kate was rushed to the hospital — he also had a car on standby! — onlookers told People magazine that the dad-to-be was “glowing” at the match.
"He's glowing about this wonderful time in his life," Danielle Alexandra, a trustee for Centrepoint, told People. "He's excited and very happy at the chance to be a father. He's one of the most loving people… He's a perfect guy to be a dad."
What do YOU think of Kate spending time with her family, HollyMoms? Do you think she’ll go into labor when she’s in Bucklebury?
