Lea Michele, you are understandably “inconsolable and devastated” beyond belief, following the death of your beloved boyfriend, Cory Monteith. But you need to know, you were the most terrific girlfriend to Cory.
Lea Michele, you are grieving deeply for your boyfriend and love of your life, Cory Monteith, just 31 at the time of his death..
Lea Michele, You & Cory Monteith Had A Beautiful Romance
His death must be even more shocking to you, than to the rest of the world. You two were so close — you were practically inseparable. You clearly had no idea that Cory’s demons had returned.
Ever since you two became an “official” and public couple, about a year and a half ago, you both appeared so incredibly happy.
Unlike many other celebrity couples who are reluctant to even acknowledge their other half publicly, Lea, both you and Cory were refreshingly open about your deep feelings for each other.
“I don’t even remember a time when he wasn’t my boyfriend,” you told Marie Claire in your interview as their January 2013 cover girl! “No one knows me better than Cory. No one knows what it's been like to go through this more than he does. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther. He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
Cory Loved You So Much
That was so lovely to hear; every woman longs to have a relationship that makes her feel incredibly secure and able to live up to her fullest potential because she has such a supportive, love partner in her life.
But you made Cory feel exactly the same way. You were totally there for him as a loving and supportive girlfriend, through thick and thin and he totally appreciated you.
He called himself “the luckiest man” in an interview with InStyle, when he was talking about you getting ready for this year’s SAG Awards, which you attended together.
He also told the mag that your dress was “stunning,” and that he contentedly watched a hockey game while you were preparing for the big night. And you revealed to the mag, that the two of you had so much fun getting ready together that “it’s like a little party!”
You Stood By Cory, Through Thick & Thin
Lea, you filled Cory’s life with love and fun. But when it came to serious issues, especially the serious issue of Cory’s on and off battle with substance abuse, you were the most loving and supportive girlfriend any man could have asked for.
You publicly stood by Cory when he went into rehab in March, earlier this year. In fact, you were the driving factor behind his wise decision to enter rehab, for the second time of his life, sources told HollywoodLife.com, at the time.
“I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this,” you told People. “I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”
You never wavered in your belief that he would conquer his substance abuse demons. You were seen wearing a necklace with his name “Cory,” around your neck. And as soon as he finished his treatment, you were by his side again.
In fact, the two of you were seen in his hometown of Victoria, B.C. having coffee with his mom, shortly after that.
Then you beamed proudly at him when you attended the 12th Annual Crystal’s Butterfly Ball in Vancouver in LA on June 8.
“I think he looks great, doesn’t he,” you told a reporter from E! “He’s the best!”
Lea, Our Thoughts Are With You & Cory
You said that publicly, because you meant that! Cory was “the best” man for you, and Us reports that you two were planning to move in together.
But Lea, Cory wasn’t just “the best” for you. You were “the best” for him too. No one could have given him more love and understanding than you did.
You were a wonderful girlfriend who brought him so much happiness. We at HollywoodLife.com are so saddened by your terrible loss and we offer our prayers and condolences for you at this devastating time.
