Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan, aka the pop-duo Karmin, have partnered up with Tone Body Wash to be the newest faces of their Turn It Up Series! and Tone Ocean Therapy Body Wash. We sat down with Amy and Nick to get some EXCLUSIVE details about their upcoming tour with the Jonas Brothers, as well as some of their absolute beauty must-haves!
Karmin’s Tour With The Jonas Brothers — Get Excited
After the release of “Acapella” and their collaboration with Tone, Karmin will be hitting the road as the opening act of the Jonas Brother’s World Tour 2013. Amy and Nick said they can’t wait to hit the road with the Brothers but were pretty tight-lipped about revealing if they had a favorite, saying, ” we’ve only met two!” But after some poking and prodding, they finally revealed that they have a soft spot for Joe. “We know Joe the most,” said Nick, adding, “we have the same sense of humor.”
Amy’s Beauty Must-Haves
Since Amy is pretty much a YouTube beauty queen, we had to ask her all about her beauty must-haves! Her absolute product must-have is a classic: “I'm probably going to have to say red lipstick. Yeah, if you put me on a desert island, you know? Red lipstick.” She also had some summer beauty tips that are right on the bright makeup trend. Amy said that in these hot summer months, “I say go bright or go home,” before adding, “it's good to have every shade of eyeshadow — that's fun.” Amy also said that she has plans to launch a beauty site, “later this year…which will be really fun.”
Karmin Become The Newest Faces Of Tone Turn It Up
Amy and Nick are best known for their hits like “Brokenhearted” and their latest single “Acapella” — but the duo are beauty idols in their own right as well. That’s why Tone thought they were a natural fit for their Turn It Up! series which partners musicians with body washes, so no matter what your mood, Tone has the perfect scent and songs to help you start your day. Amy couldn’t agree more and said that the shower and music — and Tone — are absolutely connected: “Everybody asks me where I learned how to rap and I actually learned how to rap in the shower. And I was like 'people don't realize how much the shower and music are related. But Tone is something I have used pretty much my whole life.”
