What’s love got to do with it? Everything! Legendary soul singer Tina Turner is getting married for the second time at age 73. She will wed German producer Erwin Bach in Europe on July 21.
Tina Turner Is Engaged — Singer To Marry For A Second Time At 73
This is simply the best! Tina and Erwin are reportedly getting married at their home on Lake Zurich in Switzerland on July 21, but other sources say they might get hitched at their villa on the French Riviera, according to the New York Post.
Either way, it’s sure to be a fabulous affair! The couple’s friend Georgio Armani is expected to attend.
Tina has been living with Erwin in Zurich, Switzerland for more than 15 years. When asked about their relationship, she said, “We are one!"
“I am happier than I could have ever dreamed of,” the singer recently said.
Tina Turner Finds Happiness After Heartache
Tina Turner‘s ex-husband and manager Ike Turner infamously abused the singer for years before she finally left him. After their divorce was finalized in 1978, Tina revived her career and became a hugely successful Grammy-winning solo artist.
In 1985, Tina met Erwin while he worked as a record producer at EMI, and the two began dating the following year. We’re so happy that Tina has found happiness after all her heartache!
