The royal baby is set to arrive any day now, and dad-to-be William is still on Royal Air Force duty. But luckily, there’s a helicopter on standby for the Prince whenever Kate goes into labor!

As the world awaits for the arrival of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal baby, William is still on Royal Air Force duty. While Kate is staying at Kensington Palace in London, William continues to work — but have no fear, he has a helicopter awaiting if and when the royal baby makes his or her debut!

Prince William Will Return To RAF If Kate Doesn’t Give Birth

The royal baby is due July 13, and if the future heir to the throne decides to hold off a little longer, then William will return to work in Wales on July 15 with a standby helicopter in tow, according to Us Weekly. The chopper will be set to take William from his home on Anglesey in Wales to Kate’s side in London. The trip would take about 70 minutes, according to the magazine.

While Kate relaxes in Kensington Palace and her family gathers close by before the arrival of the royal baby, William is still at work as a Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Pilot in Wales. He will take his two-week paternity leave as soon as the royal baby is born.

Prince William Set To Play In Polo Match July 14

The Duchess of Cambridge may be set to go into labor any second, but Prince William also has some other possible events to attend over Kate’s due date weekend. William is set to play in a charity polo match just one day after Kate’s reported due date!

"Yes, if he is able to," a Kensington Palace rep tells HollywoodLife.com. "The Duke hopes to play polo on Sunday [July 14]."

Whenever the royal baby decides to enter the world, we know William will drop everything to be by Kate’s side! We admire that he is trying to save all the days he can so he can spend all of his paternity leave doting on his little one.

So HollywoodLifers, what do YOU think about William’s plan if they royal baby doesn’t arrive on time? Do you think he should return to work at all even before Kate gives birth? Let us know what you think!
