The royal baby is almost here! In last-minute final preparations, the mom-to-be’s family all gathered together at Buckingham Palace, and are ready to be by Kate’s side when the bundle of joy arrives!
Kate Middleton, 31, and Prince William, 31, are counting down the minutes until their first-born child is born — the heir to the royal throne — and the Duchess’ entire family is prepared to be by Kate’s side as a family unit!
Kate Middleton’s Family By Her Side Before Royal Baby
Kate’s sister Pippa, 29, brother James, 26, and parents Carole and Michael all arrived at Buckingham Palace on July 11 for a concert to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth‘s coronation. The concert was on the grounds of Buckingham Palace, which is just a couple miles from where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are staying while they await for their baby to arrive.
Kate has been nesting in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, which is close to the back garden of Buckingham Palace, where the Middletons, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Camilla were all gathered for the festive concert. The Duchess of Cornwall revealed how excited she is for her grandbaby to arrive. Camilla said:
We are very excited, immensely looking forward to it, and waiting for the phone call.
Kate Middleton Staying At Kensington Palace Before Baby
While the Middletons and royals enjoyed the concert at Buckingham Palace, Kate was resting up in nearby at Nottingham Cottage, making final preparations before the royal baby arrives.
Kate chose to stay on the palace grounds to be close to St. Mary’s Hospital in London, where she will give birth to the royal baby. Prince William, on the other hand, is stationed in Wales, so he’s staying at the couple’s home on Anglesey. But he has a helicopter on call for when his baby arrives!
