Gia Allemand‘s boyfriend, New Orleans Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson, was devastated when she passed away after committing suicide. Ryan, who found Gia unconscious and hanging in her home, rushed her to the hospital and stayed by her side until she died. Although Ryan must have been traumatized by this tragedy, he is coming forward right away to say how much he loved Gia in a touching personal statement.

After Gia, 29, was hospitalized late on August 12, Ryan showed his devotion to her by staying with her in the ICU until the very end. Ryan clearly loved Gia so much, and it must be so hard for him to accept the fact that she is gone.
“I’m deeply grateful for all the love and support we have received from family, friends and fans,” he said in a statement. “Gia was the most beautiful person I knew inside and out and she always smiled and made everyone else around her smile. She had such an amazing impact on my life and anyone that knew her was blessed. All I have left is to cherish those memories we made together and help perpetuate the many values, faith and love that we shared.”
Ryan is so strong! We can’t imagine how he must be feeling right now, but it’s nice to know that he will never forget Gia.
Gia Allemand Dead At 29
Gia, who rose to fame after appearing on the 14th season of The Bachelor, was admitted to University Hospital in New Orleans on Aug. 12.
Her best friend had previously tweeted that she in the hospital in critical condition, but at the time, no one knew why.
“@GiaAllemand is on life support w little pulse and barely breathing ..cause unknown ..next 48 hours critical please pray for Gia everyone,” tweeted beauty expert Melinda Farina. ”I’m so sad about my best friend right now…how could this have happened to such an incredible person..she needs to come out of it!”
“Everyone I will keep you posted if I hear anything further right now it’s not good-we all need to stay positive though she’s tiny but strong,” she added.
It’s so tragic that Gia succumbed to her injuries. Our thoughts go out to her friends and family during this difficult time.
