It didn’t last quite as long as Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries, but Kris Jenner’s talk show had a decent run. Sadly, Fox has reportedly decided not to bring back the daytime talk show for a second season. Keep reading for all the details!
Kris Jenner’s talk show, Kris, has reportedly been canceled after one season. The mom of six was recently told, "There is no chance the talk show is going to get a green light from Fox. The ratings were averaging an abysmal 0.8 and advertisers were less than enthusiastic about it."
Kris Jenner’s Talk Show Canceled — ‘Kris’ Won’t Return For A Second Season
"Kris did get a ratings bump for her last show when Kanye West revealed the first baby pic of daughter, North West, with Kim Kardashian, but that was a one time shot in the arm and it wouldn't be indicative of what the ratings trend would be," a source tells Radar Online.
Jeff Probst and
Ricki Lake were also canceled after one season.
Nate Berkus and
Anderson Cooper also recently faced cancellations.
“It’s a very crowded market and Kris didn’t do anything to set herself apart from the field. Believe it or not, most of America doesn’t want to hear about the Kardashians for an hour every day,” the source revealed.
Oddly enough, fellow talk show host Ricki Lake seems to have confirmed the news. She tweeted, “@KrisJenner Sorry to hear your show was #cancelled. Why didn’t you talk to me first? I could have warned you about SB.” The jury is still out on who SB is, but it may be executive producer Stephen Brown, who worked on both Kris and Ricki’s shows.
