It’s been a rocky road for Miley and Liam, but a source tells Hollywoodlife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Liam DOES love his fiance. However, he is just not very good at expressing his feelings.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been been battling breakup rumors for over a year now, but HollywoodLife.com can exclusively reveal that Liam does love Miley and wants to be with her. However, unlike exhibitionist Miley, Liam prefers a quiet life and would rather keep their private life private.
Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Still Engaged
Miley, 20, and Liam, 23, have been engaged for more than a year, but they do not look like they will be walking down the aisle any time soon.
So what do they fight about most?
“It’s not just the distance that they fight about,” a source close to the “See You Again” singer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “They are some pretty huge differences with their personalities. They say opposites attract and that’s true but it can also work against them. Miley is so much more open and out there with everything and Liam is pretty reserved and that’s something they fight about a lot.”
Miley sure is out there! Miley attended the VMAs solo, where she performed “Blurred Lines” in her underwear, and then gyrated and twerked up again Robin Thicke. Plus, Miley loves posting suggestive pictures on Twitter, and that is another thing that strikes a cord with Liam.

Twitter is a perfect example, they’ve had so many fights about it, they even broke up once because of Twitter. Liam hates how much she overshares but that’s just Miley, she’s an open book and always has been. But she has tried to tone it down for Liam, she even quit for a while because it was causing so many fights. But she couldn’t stay off so she ended up promising him that she would never post about their personal life and she’s been pretty good about that.
Liam and Miley really just need to meet half way. Liam should be more vocal about his love, while Miley should calm down her insane image somewhat.
The couple haven’t been spotted together on a red carpet since their awkward appearance at the Paranoia premiere in Hollywood on Aug. 8, but Miley is now changing her hair to please Liam.

Miley is also growing out her hair for her hunky fiancée, a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“He thinks Miley’s beautiful no matter what and he’s not going around telling her how to wear her hair, but she has said that he likes her longer hair better," the source revealed.
