Another day, another look from Lily! This time the star opted for a more relaxed ensemble for a Mexico City photocall. Did you like her outfit?
Lily Collins continued her whirlwind promotional duties for her role in the upcoming film, The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones premiere, where the 24-year-old star was on hand at the St. Regis Hotel on Aug. 26 in a more casual look.
Lily Collins’ Striped Dress:
After wowing us in a slew of feminine frocks, sexy dresses, and a bevy of crop tops, Lily went for a more comfortable silhouette, pairing her sparkling, striped Rachel Zoe top with a pleated leather skirt. Her silver-and-black striped tee is from Rachel’s Resort 2013 collection and features leather sleeves — it went so well with her pleated leather skirt! Black Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps finished off the ensemble.
While this look was definitely stylish and appropriate for the occasion, I really wasn’t a huge fan of the ensemble. Personally, I think it did nothing for the star’s petite frame! Had the top been paired with leather pants of a straighter silhouette I would’ve liked it better — this was just too bunchy and her figure was lost in the look.
Don’t get me wrong Lily still looks great, it just isn’t the best get-up we’ve seen on the star. Flawless hair and makeup polished off the promotional ensemble.
