After wowing us in a fashion-forward, sexy, and edgy gown at the VMAs in NYC, she skipped across the country to the west coast where she showed off a printed, premiere perfect mini. Did you love it as much as I did?
Selena Gomez is on a seriously stellar style roll! Although we’re sure she is quite tired while promoting both her upcoming role in Getaway, right in the middle of her major tour, she still has been looking better than ever!
Selena Gomez ‘Getaway’ Premiere Dress:
For the LA premiere at the Regency Village Theatre on Aug. 26, Sels opted for a pretty printed Vera Wang mini from the Fall 2013 collection. The stone collage dress was the perfect combination of youthful, refreshing, and sexy. Her frock featured a butterfly peplum on the skirt while the top, made up of a rose jacquard bodice, had a lace insert down the middle which broke up the pattern. She matched her Lorraine Schwartz earrings to the embroidered, magenta rose detailing in the skirt, really tying the whole look together.
Sels finished off her ensemble with lace Jimmy Choo ‘Alias’ cap-toe pumps. I love the way she matched the lace on her dress to her delicate pumps, while she wore her hair back in a loose yet voluminous ponytail as to not take away from the dress. It was flawless!
Selena Gomez’s VMAs Dress:
It’s another day and another amazing look on the star. The 21-year-old is proving just how versatile her style is — and she always gets it right! While this look had a more flirty and fun vibe to it, her frock at the MTV Video Music Awards was all about seriously sexy style. Her long-sleeved Versace gown featured a thigh-high slit that put her long legs on full display — she looked stunning as she accepted her “Best Pop Video” moonman for her song “Come and Get It.”
I clearly can’t get enough of Selena’s style, (especially lately!), and I’m such a fan girl. While some stars really try to push the envelope, Selena proves that you can grow up and become a sexy star in a tasteful way. Do you agree?
Did you love her premiere perfect dress as much as I did?
