Joe and Melissa Gorga attended the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 25, but Teresa Giudice made sure that everyone knew she was also invited to the annual awards show. However, it seems as though Teresa may have been lying and her tweet may be another dig at her sister-in-law.

“Gia just found out I turned down the VMAs to spend the weekend w/family & she said, ‘I know you love us, but you have GOT to be kidding me!’” Teresa tweeted on Aug. 25. And when one fan accused her of lying, she replied, “Bravo invited all of us thank you very much. Kisses.”
However, Teresa and Melissa’s RHONJ co-star Jacqueline Laurita was asked the same question — if all the Housewives were invited to the VMAs — and she appeared to prove Teresa wrong.

Reality Tea reached out to Melissa Gorga’s rep to see how she got the VMA invite and they were told, “Melissa’s music manager Johnny Wright arranged her invite to the Video Music Awards.”
