After raising hell on the show’s third season, one of Adrienne’s ‘RHOBH’ co-stars tells HollywoodLife.com the ladies will be better off without her.
After much speculation, Adrienne Maloof‘s dismissal from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was confirmed March 25 when housewife-wrangler Andy Cohen addressed her absence at the reunion: “Adrienne Maloof's final act as a housewife is not showing up tonight.” And even though several cast members seemed surprised by the news, an insider tells HollywoodLife.com there’s no love lost between them.
“It’s not like Adrienne will be missed by anyone,” our source tells us. “That’s just the truth. … She’s done a lot of frivolous things, hurled bogus accusations against people and sued her friends. Who wants that? But best of luck to her.”
Even the women who seemed close to Adrienne this past season — like Kyle Richards, who invited Adrienne and Paul Nassif over for dinner several times — admitted things took a turn for the worst.
“I really wish she’d handled things differently,” Kyle told Andy during the reunion. And when Lisa Vanderpump called Kyle out for befriending Adrienne as a “business transaction,” Kyle briefly admitted she was never that close to the former Mrs. Paul Nassif.
Brandi Glanville, as expected, didn’t pull any punches. “No,” she said when Andy asked if Adrienne would be missed. She also answered “yes” when asked if Adrienne was cowardly for bailing on the reunion.
“I think she changed the boundaries,” Lisa added. “If you sign up to do a reality show, you have to be prepared to open up your life. … How can you go into a reality show with so many secrets, then get litigious every time somebody brings something up?”
