The ‘West Coast Choppers’ star married his fourth wife on March 24, but aside from being the new bride to Jesse James, there’s a lot about Alexis that you don’t know! Read on to find out more about the drag racer.
Jesse James, 43, loves being in love, and on March 24, got married for the fourth time to drag car racer Alexis Dejoria, 35. Although Alexis is a virtual look-alike to Jesse’s ex-fiance Kat Von D, there is much more to the drag racer than meets the eye!
Here are five things you don’t know about Alexis Dejoria:
1. She’s a professional drag car racer for the National Hot Rod Association, or NHRA. She started her racing career in 2005, and drives a Nitro Funny Car — which can reach speeds of more than 300 miles per hour!
2. Alexis’ dad is a billionaire. Her father is John Paul Dejoria, a co-founder of the successful Paul Mitchell hair care line — no wonder she has such great hair!
3. She dabbled in modeling. Along with racing full-time, Alexis has also been featured in a few modeling campaigns, most famously for her dad’s company Paul Mitchell.
4. Her drag race sponsorship is Patron tequila — which her dad also co-founded. Alexis’ racing team is sponsored by The Patron Spirits Company, which her dad John Paul co-founded in 1989.
5. She has a 10-year-old daughter named Bella, who is just a year older than Jesse’s daughter Sunny, 9! Both girls served as flower girls in their parents’ wedding.
Jeese James & Alexis Dejoria Tie The Knot
The newlyweds got married in a lavish ceremony at her father John Paul’s Malibu, Calif. mansion. The couple exchanged Neil Lane rings, and her bridesmaid and flower girl dresses were in a beautiful lavender color.
The couple began dating in September 2012, bonding over their mutual love for fast automobiles. They now live together in Austin, TX, where Alexis drag races for Patron.
