Kim Kardashian‘s pregnancy style has been controversial the last few months, but the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, who is expecting her first child with Kanye West in July, spoke out on Good Morning America on March 26 about her maternity clothes, and defended her choice to wear tight outfits and high heels!
When GMA’s Lara Spencer asked her about wearing flats for once, Kim revealed that they aren’t as comfortable as she thought they would be!
“They actually hurt my back,” she said. “I love high heels, whatever you feel good in.”
She also revealed that her older sister Kourtney Kardashian, who has two kids and has been through pregnancy in the public eye, warned her about the backlash she would experience with being a pregnant celebrity.
Kim Kardashian: People Will Criticize You For Everything
“Kourtney warned that when you become a mom or when you become pregnant, there’s this whole new group of critics who will criticize you for everything you do,” Kim said on Good Morning America. ”If I wear one color of clothes, I’m in this kind of mood they think, If I wear heels, then it’s harmful.”
Kim Kardashian Defends Maternity Style
Kim also defended her pregnancy style against the haters!
“My theory is happy mommy, happy baby, so whatever makes me feel good, I wanna wear,” she said. “So I’m trying the flats, but we’ll see.”
