The United States men’s national team won their fifth Gold Cup title at Soldier Field on July 28, beating Panama 1-0, thanks to a goal from substitute Brek Shea, who later posted an emotional team pic on Instagram.

Clearly, the entire team was thankful for Brek’s winning goal! Huddled around the “Gold Cup,” the team proudly held up their medals in the photo, as they smiled from ear to ear.
When the final whistle sounded, the Americans on the bench raced onto the field to join their teammates. Several players jumped up and down, and hugs and high-fives were exchanged. It was surely a sight to be seen!
The victory extends the Americans’ winning streak to a record 11 games, four more than their previous best.
