Lily Collins is having a very big year. The 24-year-old is the star of highly anticipated movie The Mortal Instruments, recently rocked the cover of Glamour, and now has landed the coveted front page of Seventeen‘s September issue! We’re loving Lily’s look on the cover and what she has to say on the inside of the mag.

Lily always looks great, so it’s no surprise that she looks like a million bucks on this Seventeen cover! We’re loving the over-sized red leopard-print sweater and the giant, layered multi-metal statement necklaces the petite actress is rocking!
But of course, we really love Lily’s beauty look! Lily’s eyebrows always look bold and amazing but we love that she wasn’t afraid to wear a red statement lip as well. It really goes to show that there are no rules in beauty. If you want to emphasize two or more features on your face, go right ahead. As Lily shows, it’s not that hard to pull off!
Lily Talks Tattoos & ‘The Mortal Instruments’ Fame
Turns out that her brows and red lips aren’t Lily’s only beauty statements. The actress revealed to Seventeen that she recently got two tattoos. “I always wanted tattoos, so this past November, I got two,” says Lily. “I got my back done first — it’s my handwriting and it says, Love always and forever.”
She also told the mag that she admires Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence because “both handled the fame that came with those roles and their ability to step outside those roles and do other projects,” regarding Twilight and The Hunger Games. Lily says that she wants to take their lead and perform a number of different roles after The Mortal Instruments: “That's what I want to do, balance fun, big movies with gritty passion projects I love.”
