Katy loves dressing up and we expected nothing less than this all-blue ensemble for her latest red carpet appearance! We love how she stuck to the theme and flaunted her signature style. Do you agree?
Katy Perry might have been all-blue, but she was also all smiles as she hit the red carpet for The Smurfs 2 premiere on July 28 in Westwood. The 28-year-old attended the event at Regency Village Theatre wearing a head-to-toe blue look as she promoted the upcoming flick — what a beautiful choice!
Katy Perry’s ‘SMURFS 2′ Premiere Dress:
Usually known for her wacky and eccentric fashion, Katy played it fairly safe this weekend as she attended the premiere for The Smurfs 2. Katy, who did the voice of “Smurfette” in the film, wore a blue Tadashi Shoji dress that fell below the knee. The top of the frock had a lace top with matching floral embellishments. Held together by a thin belt, the bottom was made up of pleated leather. The nine-time Grammy nominated artist kept with the blue theme as she donned a matching pair of Pedro Garcia heels.
The “Firework” songstress wore her hair down in voluminous curls and kept the jewelry simple with small blue earrings. She even had some company on the red carpet, running into castmate Britney Spears!
This might not have been Katy’s best look, but it was super appropriate and adorable for the premiere of the children’s flick. We know she loves to dress up and play with fashion and she definitely did just that.
