We still can’t imagine a life for Rachel Berry without Finn Hudson, but ‘Glee’ star Naya Rivera spoke to HollywoodLife.com and revealed her hopes for Lea Michele’s character, following Cory Monteith’s sad and sudden death on July 13.

When the news of Cory Monteith's death broke, we couldn't help but wonder how Lea Michele would ever recover from this devastating loss. More specifically, how would Lea, 26, continue on Glee without the other half of "Finchel." Thanks to Naya Rivera, we now have an idea of what Rachel Berry’s life will be like without Finn Hudson.

Naya Rivera On ‘Glee’ After Cory Monteith’s Death — What Will Happen To Rachel?

“I think that Rachel might go to Broadway. I’m pretty sure that Funny Girl thing worked out pretty well for her,” Naya, 26, tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

At the end of season four, viewers saw Rachel auditioning for the lead role in Funny Girl, but the episode closed before we learned Rachel’s fate. Did she get the role? Did she not? We’re glad that Naya’s “pretty sure” it works out for Rachel because she’s going to need some positive news in her life, following Finn’s death, which will be addressed in the third episode next season.

Santana, Rachel & Kurt Will Lean On Each Other After Finn’s Death

Thankfully for Lea, Naya also reveals that she, Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Santana (played by Naya) will likely lean on each other after Finn dies.

As far as the three of them go, I think they’ll probably grow a lot closer this season. And it’ll probably be nice to see a little bit of the digs and pettiness go away for a little bit and show really good, genuine friendships.

We’ll always miss Finn, but we’re happy that Rachel will have a strong support system and a promising future.

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? What are your hopes for season five?
