Katy Perry looks pretty in plaid for her first ELLE UK cover! The 28-year-old sports a slew of sexy designers as she dishes about everything from her music to her men! Keep reading to get all the details!
Katy Perry On The Cover of ‘ELLE UK’ Magazine:
Katy has admitted to doing some serious prepping before her magazine shoots and it certainly pays off! On July 26, Perry admitted during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that she quit drinking alcohol and coffee three months before her first Vogue cover in July!
“I was really in the zone and just really wanted to be glowing for that cover,” she told Leno.
And while we’re not sure what prepping the “Wide Awake” songstress did for her latest shoot with ELLE, it’s certainly working! September’s rebel-themed cover has the actress glammed up in a plaid black and white Dolce & Gabbana romper. The Smurfs 2 star is also sporting a heavy smokey eye that compliments her jet black hair perfectly.
Katy holds her heel as she exudes some serious edge and confidence. We’ve seen the spunk of punk on celebrities from Nina Dobrev to Miley Cyrus— and we love it for Katy too!
But that’s not all. The California native sports Prada, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Alexander Wang and Sacai for the British mag’s spread. A candid Katy even sets the record straight about her relationships (or as ELLE would say, “temptations”) with John Mayer, Russell Brand and Robert Pattinson. Sounds juicy!
We can’t get enough of the cover and are SO excited to see what else the issue has in store when it hits newsstands on July 31!
