Kate Middleton’s Natural Birth: No Painkillers Taken
Prince George Alexander Louis was born on July 22 at 4:24 p.m. local time, after mom Kate went through 11 hours of labor. She did it without taking a single painkiller! Kate’s three top-notch doctors and four skilled midwives at St. Mary’s Hospital in London gave Kate the best of care and looked over her during the whole labor process, but Kate deserves some serious credit for her resolve to go painkiller-free.
Kate Middleton: Planned On Natural Childbirth From The Beginning
Before the baby ever arrived, Kate already decided that she would go through any means of childbirth that doctors decided was safest for both her and the royal baby — including a C-section if it proved to be necessary. She was hoping for a natural birth from the beginning, and she reportedly researched into other forms of pain relief beyond an epidural — like hypnobirth and listening to a calming music playlist to relax herself.
