On the July 29 episode of the Kris show, Kris Jenner discussed strange baby names with her guest Brooke Burke-Charvet. As Brooke explained that her own four children’s names aren’t the most conventional bunch out there, Kris was quick to throw out North West as the craziest of them all! Watch out, Kim Kardashian!
Kris Jenner Calls Out Kim Kardashian’s Unconventional Baby Name
Brooke revealed the meanings behind her kids’ names with Kris on the power-mom’s daytime talk show. She explained that though her four kids’ names – Heaven Rain, Sierra Sky, Neriah Fisher, and Shaya Braven — are not the least bit conventional, they each still have a lot of spiritual meaning to her and her family. She even went on to acknowledge that Heaven Rain and Sierra Sky could even sound like potential “stripper names!”
Kris joked that she need not worry about her nontraditional naming — after all, “some people are really crazy, they’ll name their kids after directional things.”
Ooh, burn! She just called out Kim!
Just last month, Kris appeared on The View and supported the unconventional name, saying it had a higher meaning of its own:
I love the name North. I'm pro North, absolutely, the way she explained it to me was that North means highest power. And she says North is their highest point together, and I thought that was really sweet.
Is she changing her tune, or is it all in good fun?
Celebrity Baby Names: The Wilder The Better?
Brooke thinks that with naming celebrity babies, the unconventional names are “what people expect,” she explained on the Kris show. She may be right. After all, how could we forget such a memorable moniker as North West?
