Kim reportedly wanted to film a final farewell video chat with Kris, but the NBA player allegedly turned down his ex-wife's request.
Kim Kardashian, who gave birth to her first daughter, North West, with boyfriend Kanye West on June 15, reportedly wanted to record an emotional video chat with Kris Humphries to tell him that she “did love him” after reaching a divorce settlement in May.
Kris Humphries & Kim Kardashian’s Final Goodbye That Wasn’t — No More Filming
On the July 21 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim told her mom, Kris Jenner, and sister, Khloe Kardashian, that she wanted to have one final video chat with Kris, so she could apologize for how she handled certain aspects of their divorce. Kim also wanted the Hump to know she "truly did love him." (She also allegedly wanted it filmed for KUWTK!)
Kris, 28, "said no way. [He] turned down Kim's offer because he didn't want to appear on any of the Kardashian reality shows ever again. Kim and Kris haven't spoken since the divorce was made final, and there are no plans to do so," a source told Radar Online.
On the same episode, Kim, 32, was seen celebrating with high fives when the divorce was finalized. Kris was reportedly upset with Kim’s actions and thought she was being insensitive.
Kris Humphries Was Somber & Sad When His Marriage To Kim Kardashian Ended
Even though Kris didn't watch it, "he heard about it from his friends," the source said. "On the day the divorce was finalized, Kris was somber and a bit sad. There was absolutely no celebration, or parties. It was the end of his marriage, and it was a reflective time for him. It didn't surprise him that Kim carried on the way she did on the show."
However, it should be noted that Kris let the divorce drag on for months and dated a Kim K. lookalike in the meantime, so we’re not so sure he was just sitting back and “reflecting.”
A source close to Kim tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that this is “not true” — Kim did not want to film her final goodbye.
