So sad. Lea is barely functioning after the sad and sudden death of her true love, Cory Monteith, on July 13, according to a new report.
Devastated after losing Cory Monteith, Lea Michele will have to return to work soon without her Glee co-star and boyfriend. However, the 26-year-old actress is reportedly having trouble getting out of bed.
Lea Michele Can’t Get Out Of Bed — Devastated After Cory Monteith’s Death
“[Lea] doesn’t want to get out of bed. Her eyes are swollen from crying nonstop,” a source tells OK!.
Sadly, Lea won't have much time to heal before she’s expected to resume production on season five of the FOX series in August.
"Lea has no idea how she's ever going to go back to work, let alone sing on stage without Cory," another source tells OK!
Grief is a process. Most people pass through it in stages and then, with some luck, move on. But Lea won’t have that luxury, as work will only intensify her heartbreak. Lea, 26, and Cory, 31, met and fell in love on the set of Glee, so returning to work will likely only make the process that much more difficult.
Lea Michele: Cory Monteith 'Made My Life So Incredible'
Lea told Marie Claire Mexico's August 2013 issue that Cory made her life so incredible.
"It is important to have someone that supports you and encourage you, someone that makes you feel that you are unstoppable, that you can do anything in the world because you have him," Lea said, when the interview was conducted on June 7.
Poor Lea! We can’t imagine how she must feel. Our thoughts continue to go out to those affected by Cory's death, especially Lea.
